ISSUE 01
What’s up everyone! I’m Jake, the Founder of Spawn, and I’m thrilled to send you the first edition of Web3Weekly by Spawn. I started Spawn to empower students and aspiring professionals in the world of Web3, and I’m happy to see that our community is growing and thriving. With this newsletter, we want to help you discover new ideas and perspectives, provide valuable insights and opportunities to help you grow and achieve your goals in this field, and share with you some of the exciting things we’ve been working on at Spawn. More importantly, we want it to be a slight refresher in your inbox and something you enjoy weekly.

What’s new at Spawn?
Cohort applications are now live!
Applications for the Spawn Fellowship and Studio are now open, and we are accepting submissions until January 15th at 11:59 PM EST.
A Studio is focused on building and is uniquely positioned to create immense value for exceptional and intellectually curious students by allowing them to immerse themselves in blockchain engineering. We’re proud to announce our partnership with Polygon for the upcoming cohort.
The Spawn Fellowship is an invaluable opportunity for students to research emerging projects, pitch to venture firms, learn from industry mentors, and collaborate with like-minded peers nationwide.
For more information, please use the links below to apply and learn more about both cohorts. We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you into our community!

Ending Thoughts
We sent this out on a Tuesday because we feel like Mondays are filled with people going places and doing things, too many newsletters come out on Wednesdays, and nobody reads anything extra on a Friday. Although, Wednesday’s Web3Weekly by Spawn does have a ring to it.
We hope to make this newsletter exactly the type of content you look forward to reading, or skimming through during the 3 minutes you have between Zoom meetings. Feel free to reach out to jake@spawn.global with any questions, comments, concerns, and especially jokes. If you make me laugh, I’ll put your joke in the next newsletter.

See you all next week.
